Last week, the Pelham Panthers announced the acquisition of goaltender Gabriel Longo from the St. Catharines Falcons. Longo, a 5’11 18 year old out of Hamilton has spent most of his GOJHL career spanning parts of 3 seasons with the Hamilton Kilty B’s before being signed by the Falcons in November. Over the course of his GOJHL career, Longo has picked up a 17-17-0-1 record through 37 games played posting a 3.01 GAA and an even .900 SV%. In his first game with the Panthers on Saturday in Port Colborne, Longo played impressively, kicking aside 30 of 31 shots in a tight 1-0 loss.
